New Deal 1960

32nd US president FDR doesn't die in 1945 and continues the New Deal to create even bigger public works projects in the most deprived areas of the country. In 1960, The Tennessee Valley Authority is tasked with building a series of huge dams on the Tennessee River that will include worker housing and ship repair facilities. Iconic mid-century architects are commissioned to create designs that represent a modern, revitalised Appalachian region.

Created with the mentorship of Sathish, can't thank him enough!
